Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and four years of related Business experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade EF. Salary Minimum $47,476.

Position Description

This position will coordinate and oversee Center for Cardiometabolic Science/Envirome Institute's administrative and financial operations (up to $20 mil). This includes reviewing financial data for grants, gifts, general and university accounts; processing financial transactions; post-award management of sponsored research; monitoring expenditures and account balances; creating monthly financial reports and reporting information for the Center Directors and other faculty and the Director of Business Operations.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee Cardiometabolic Science / EHI financial and administrative operations
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Operations to create smooth and transparent administrative support to our faculty
  • Create monthly financial reports
  • Reconcile all speedtypes monthly
  • Monitor budgets
  • Communicate with the Grants management office to ensure that post award actions are completed correctly and in timely manner; make sure that OSPA invoices are submitted in a timely manner and that the cash budget is correct
  • Complete procard reconciliation
  • Ensure meeting of all financial and HR deadlines
  • Prepare all payroll and personnel requests and documents
  • Process job postings, new hires, terminations, JDFs, salary funding, etc.
  • Train an administrative assistant
  • Other related duties as needed
