Job Description Summary
The Religious Studies Department seeks a Student Research Assistant to aid faculty research activity in the Schweitzer Institute. The assistant collaborates with faculty and other team members to contribute to ongoing research projects. Assist in the collection of data through various research methods. Analyze data using appropriate methodologies under the guidance of the Religious Studies Faculty.
Responsibilities
· Assumes responsibilities and assists faculty in research and creative activities for a
designated research area.
· Develops work plans in accordance with research objectives.
· Research, design and implement updates and additions to Schweitzer Institute Website.
· Assist with implementation of renovations to Schweitzer Exhibit.
· Contribute to the research design and methodology.
· Research contents and provenance of items in Schweitzer Archive
· Maintain organized records of research materials and data.
· Adhere to ethical guidelines and protocols in research activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the life and work of Albert Schweitzer and subsequent publications relating to Schweitzer
  • Experience working with visual representation
  • Excellent writing and computer skills
