Job Summary

This position participates in an intellectual community producing cutting-edge public projects that engage literature or cultural texts in a way that advances or explores thought and action around social justice issues. These contributions will advance the goals of the grant-funded UnMapping project.

Essential Functions

  • Participates in cohort-wide developmental workshops, fellows colloquia, and project programming.
  • Develops an individual project extending the study of literature beyond the university classroom and developing curricular initiatives in literary studies that will engage with urgent issues within our local context.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience in a relevant public project.

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Temporary/Per Diem/Casual position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
