The University of Nebraska Medicine Center (UNMC) requires COVID-19 vaccinations for all students, staff, and faculty. All employees must be fully vaccinated unless they have requested and been approved for an exemption based on a recognized medical reason, a sincerely held religious belief, or a pre-approved, 100% remote work agreement. Fully vaccinated means having received one dose of a single dose COVID-19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (Moderna and Pfizer).

Position Summary
UME: Primary coordinator of one required educational program in the M3 Surgery clerkship year. Participants in the clerkship range from 19-25 students per 8-week rotation. 
• Serves as the Primary coordinator for the undergraduate (M3 clerkship) educational programs in the Department of Surgery 
• Oversees and coordinates activities and ensures requirements are met related to institutional, program and board certification requirements. 
• Acts as liaison between education program authority and recipients. 
• Manages application and orientation process. 
• Responsible for management of revenues and expenses under direction of Education Administration. 
•Performs other duties as required in a competent professional, respectful and collaborative manner. 
•Moderate level of decision making under limited supervision encompassing a moderate level of complexity due to the nature/level of responsibilities.
