Position Information

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of the UCR Campus Support Center (CSC), the UCPath Business Support Analyst is responsible for providing program, system, and business analysis support. The incumbent must have excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and problem-solving skills. The role requires self-directed effort to engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and campus Stakeholders to elicit & validate information; and work with SMEs to identify, define, and document current/future state business processes and operational procedures. The incumbent will engage in direct organizational training activities including participation in the creation of training assets and training delivery of new and existing business/system processes. The role requires participation in organizational business systems administration and support activities.

The full salary range for the UCPath Business Analyst is $71,096.40- $128,704.32 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $102,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in HR business analytics, PeopleSoft HCM implementation or other HCM/HRIS implementation. Preferred

Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Word, SharePoint, Teams and Zoom.
Highly self-motivated with strong initiative and follow-through.
Work effectively with all levels in the organization and develop informal, cooperative relationships.
Demonstrated analytical, statistical and research skills with experience in preparing analytical and narrative reports and proposals.
Working knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM implementation.
Thorough knowledge and proficiency in SharePoint.
