Department/Organization: This position reports to an off-campus employer.


Normal Work Schedule: Flexible; 5 to 25 hours per week, this is an independent contractor position

Job Summary: 1-on-1 in-person or Zoom, and possibly small group tutoring on campus in UA facilities or sorority/fraternity houses.


Required Minimum Qualifications: At least a B- in any courses you tutor, or a reference from a past instructor if requested.


Preferred Qualifications: Tutoring experience and/or knowledge of the material for UA. Willing to advise students on overall study skills, organization, and accountability. Interest in tutoring any of the following courses: AC (above 210), AEM (311, 313, 420, 468), APR (325), CHE, CIS, COM, CTD, EC, ECE, FI, GEO, GY, HD (202), HY (305), MCAT, ME (309), MIS, NUR, NHM 361, OM, PY (361, 377), REL (102), ST (440).
