General Description / Primary Purpose
Provides general support for treasury/cash management functions. Reconciles receipt and disbursement transactions that are complex in nature. Research financial transactions and ensures proper posting. Expeditious performance and oversight of daily bank activity and ongoing bank account reconcilements for all UNF & DSO (Direct Support Organizations) bank accounts and bank reconciliation adjusting entries. Ensure daily treasury operation deliverables are met with a detailed focus on bank cut-offs.

Essential Duties


Job Function
Research transactions and general support for Treasury functions daily. Interface with the accounting departments and campus community to ensure that all cash flows are properly posted. Assist with discrepancies with the bank and all related departments within a timely manner. This includes but not limited to collaborating with Payroll, Accounts Payable and General Accounting for researching monetary transactions.
Oversight of daily bank activity and bank account reconcilements for all UNF and DSO bank accounts within a timely manner. This includes the recording of investment activity. Follow up on bank reconciliation adjusting entries.
Timely supply management to ensure the campus community is stocked with deposit tickets and other banking provisions.
Perform all assigned duties/projects and provide treasury back-up functions as required.
Monitor all banking activities to detect irregularities and investigates all transactions to enable fraud prevention. Provides documentation for the purpose of supporting all financial transactions.
Assist auditors – internal and external – with documentation required for the auditors to do their job. This is inclusive of the collection of annual audit documentation request.
Provides assistance with financial related questions and banking provision supplies. Provides feedback to the departments on how to improve on internal controls, and also pinpoint areas where risks relating to banking transactions can be minimized.
During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job-related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.

Communicate audit issues/problems to management for resolution. Handle all confidential issues with discretion. Actively and consistently support all Treasury efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Coordination of primary and back-up roles for team members.
Required Qualifications
This position requires either (a) Master’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization ; (b) Bachelor’s degree from an acceptable accredited institution in a directly related area of specialization and two years of experience directly related to the job functions; or (c ) 6 years of direct experience.

This position requires an individual with strong accounting, analytical and accounting systems skills. This position requires full and thorough working knowledge and experience of Banner and Transact accounting system processes and integrated banking systems. Having previous exposure to the implementation of programs with systems specific projects is a must. This individual will be in a high-profile capacity and an integral part of the Treasury functions relating to banking and accounting. Ability to read customer checks, waivers, pending forms, housing forms, fee slips, deposit tickets and similar written material. Basic mathematical skills. Proficient computer skills in MS Excel and Workday. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; and, the ability to effectively prioritize work to meet deadlines and learn new concepts. The position requires a high degree of independent judgment.
