Summary of Job Duties:

The Travel Collections Specialist is responsible for conducting routine audits of unverified and invoiced spend, analyzing data, preparing statistics, monitoring and coordinating communications to billed employees and guests. This position is responsible for auditing credit card transaction submissions, timelines of reconciliation approvals, initiating Stop Payment requests, conducting settlement runs for payment issuing, analyzing invoiced data, and issuing communications of payments for escheatment. The Travel Collections Specialist will also serve as backup to creating Customer Invoices for outstanding Cashed Advances with Balances and for Negative Reimbursement Expense Reports.
This position will also provide professional, timely, and accurate responses to users’ questions via email or phone, ensuring that the campus community is treated respectfully and with due diligence and other duties as assigned.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:


Minium Qualifications: 


  • The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree or related field from an accredited institution of higher education


Applicable equivalencies may be considered.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • At least one year of experience in using Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System

  • At least one year of experience in recouping lost funds and/or materials

  • At least two years of experience using Google Suites, Microsoft Office, and/or equivalent systems

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): 

  • Knowledge of the State of Arkansas Travel Policy 

  • Knowledge of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville Travel Policy

  • General Computer Skills 

  • Customer Service Skills
