Deadline: JOB SUMMARY: The Transfer Enrollment Counselor is responsible for recruitment and communication with prospective full-time and part-time transfer students resulting in the student’s enrollment at Centenary University. The University reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position. Verify enrollment status and ensure students are eligible for admission. · Maintain contact with prospective students by conducting appointments in person or via telephone/video to disseminate program information to potential students. · Travel to community colleges, conferences, and other recruiting events · Recruit, advise and counsel post-bacc students interested in Education Certification · Military initiative-Maintain current knowledge of VA programs. Work with veterans to explain Centenary's programs and advise students through enrollment and registration ·Secure and maintain relationships with Community Colleges in NJ, PA and NY · Plan and execute special programs for transfer and part-time population market including, but not limited to PTK events, Counselor Days, Open Houses and Orientation ·Develop and assist with marketing efforts for all programs ·Work with Faculty and Dean for Academics to current of any changes to curriculum and knowledge regarding the transfer of credits and audit evaluations ·Prepare audit evaluations for prospective students for presentation ·Evaluate and update Transfer and Military plans, preparation and execution ·Maintain accurate log sheet of applicant, admitted, deposited, and registered students ·Advise and register all incoming transfer and part-time students ·Participate in local radio spots that promote transfer and graduate programs ·Work with Path to Transfer programs and other special programs set up with community colleges ·Assist with freshman enrollment when needed JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES · Maintain contact with all applicants to bring their files to completion. Verify enrollment status and ensure students are eligible for admission. · Work towards territory and semester goals that work towards the University goals of new enrolled students · Meet with Assistant Director of Admissions and Vice President of Enrollment Management to keep on track with goals and new ways to communicate with students · Maintain relationships with community colleges to help ease the transfer process for their students QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree One(1) to Three (3) years experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation and customer service skills EDUCATION/SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS Required: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred: WORKING CONDITIONS Able to work nights and weekends Able to lift up to 25 lbs Valid driver’s license and able to drive a vehicle For more information about working at Centenary, please click here.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s Degree

One(1) to Three (3) years experience
