Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Ticket Office Assistant for the Athletics Department.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
•Works the ticket window and sells tickets on event days.
•Responsible for effectively invoicing, processing, allocating, printing, and mailing all ticket/parking orders.
•Provides a heavy phone presence and maintains the highest level of customer service with season ticket holders, students, alumni, faculty/staff, and general public.

Position Salary $12.00/hr

Terms of Appointment Temporary Staff Appointment - Hourly

Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant experience depending on the duties to be performed. 
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
Certifications/Licenses
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. 
Preferred Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must possess above-average computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop preferred.

Special Conditions
  • Weeknight/weekend and holiday work mandatory.
  • Clean driving record.
