Position Summary
The Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a faculty position in the general area of condensed matter physics with a focus on quantum phenomena including quantum information. The opening is for an experimental physicist at the tenure track Assistant Professor level.  Qualified candidates may be eligible for the William R. Kenan Jr. Fellowship. The position may begin as early as July 1, 2022
Educational Requirements
A successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Physics or a related field
Qualifications and Experience
 A successful candidate should have demonstrated excellence in independent research, and will be expected to establish a robust research program in their field as well as to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
