Thacher Gallery DesignerJob Summary:
FOR INTERNAL HIRE:Join the Thacher Gallery in creating graphics and print design for publicity and exhibition texts.
The ideal designer will have experience and a deep interest in designing for print, working with image and type, exhibition design, and visitor engagement in museums.
In addition to design skills, we are looking for creativity, organization and attention to detail, strong editorial, collaboration and communication skills, availability 1-2 days a week (6-8 hours), and a long-term commitment. Occasional remote work possible.
Experience with typography, design for print and digital, and Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) as well as a design portfolio are required.
Position begins in the summer (and can be remote until school begins).
