Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 11:30am to 10:15pm


Job Summary: The Testing Services Associate I provides administrative support for the department. Utilizes imaging technology, software, databases and tools. Maintains availability, accuracy, security, and confidentiality of imaged documents. Assists with the development and testing of templates forms for optimal use of imaging technology. Maintains statistics and data analysis for administrative reporting.


Additional Department Summary: Supervises and manages activities with operating a computer-based testing center (CBT) to administer exams to students registered with The Office of Disability Services (ODS). Provides administrative support to ODS to ensure that students receive testing accommodations as regulated by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (including Amendments). Performs duties associated with test coordinating, scheduling, and administration. Maintains availability, accuracy, security, and confidentiality of testing documents. Provides data input, and data analysis activities of the testing center. May supervise student workers assigned to assist with testing.

Communicates with instructors and students about testing. Responsible for maintaining academic integrity through all stages of the testing process, including but not limited to: securing tests, verifying student credentials, proctoring tests according to faculty instruction, tracking time of administration, and monitoring for incidents of academic misconduct. Maintains accurate records using specialized database. Observes and maintains strict confidentiality policies of The University and the department.


Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.


Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: This position is a mid-day to evening shift position.


Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with electronic databases.


Preferred Qualifications: Excellent written and oral communications skills.
