Term Instructor or Term Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
The position may be offered at either the Instructor (MS) or Term Assistant Professor (PhD) level. Mathematics teaching duties of 4+3 courses will span general education, service courses for engineering and science programs, and possibly more advanced undergraduate courses, with delivery in a mixture of in person, hybrid and distance formats (e.g., synchronous and asynchronous online courses). Service includes an integral role in maintaining and developing curricula in these areas. Online asynchronous instructional experience is strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience & Education:
Successful applicants will hold an MS or PhD degree in Mathematics or a closely related field, provide evidence of effective teaching experience, and be committed to undergraduate instruction. Experience with both traditional (i.e., face-­to-­face lecture) and distance education (i.e., online) formats is preferred.
Required Experience & Education:

The position requires a master's degree in mathematics or a very closely related field (e.g., statistics) that includes advanced coursework in mathematics.  The position requires successful experience teaching mathematics at the undergraduate level.


Salary Information:

This is a full-time, term-funded faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . New hires will be a offered a salary based on education and experience.
