Assistant Professor of Power Tech w/Welding emphasis. This is a full-time, 9 month term position. Start date is August 10, 2020.
The UAS Ketchikan Regional Maritime Training Center is seeking an experienced, self-motivated and collaborative professional to instruct welding and help develop the welding program. The program operates from a well-equipped shop facility at the UAS Ketchikan Regional Maritime Training Center. The position is a full-time 9-month term position. We're looking for a skilled instructor, who likes teaching, is highly motivated, and who works well with a variety of constituents, from students and faculty to industry partners. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience working with private and public external constituencies; computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office software; organizational skills and strong background in welding. Must have an AAS in Welding or other industrial field or a combination of education and experience w/current relevant certifications. Start date is August 10, 2020.
