Bucknell University’s Department of Economics invites interested candidates at the Assistant Professor level to apply for a tenure-track position beginning in the fall semester of 2024. The successful candidate will have the ability to pursue a high-quality research program in at least one of the following areas: public economics, urban or regional economics, poverty, antitrust, and the economics of education. The successful candidate will also have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching of economic principles and electives in their area of interest.

Bucknell is committed to supporting the teacher-scholar model of faculty development. The teaching load is 5 courses per year and the student-faculty ratio is 9:1. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in Economics, although candidates nearing completion of their doctoral work will be considered. Minimum Qualifications:
By the start date of the position, candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. or be ABD in Economics.

This posiiton is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible, tenure track faculty position.
