Job Summary/Basic Function
About This Role:
Applications are invited for a tenure-track faculty positions at the rank of assistant professor in the general area of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Candidates from all areas of Industrial Engineering and related engineering fields will be considered. Duties will include teaching a range of undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising graduate and undergraduate student research, and undertaking an active research program. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience relevant for the advertised position. The department teaches and conducts research on a wide range of topics including Manufacturing, Data Science, Reliability, Design for Manufacturing, Robotics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Safety, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Logistics, Quality, and related areas.
The department places a significant importance on software tools to implement the advanced ideas presented in the classroom. We want our students and faculty to implement solutions to solve complex problems in manufacturing, logistics, oil and gas, and all other industries.
What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities

  • Teach courses.
  • Conduct funded research.
  • Support department teaching and service mission.
