The Duke University Department of Biomedical Engineering (Duke BME) in the Pratt School of Engineering is seeking applicants for one Tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in the broad area of medical imaging. Early career researchers doing innovative work in all areas of medical imaging are encouraged to apply. Broadly defined areas of interest include the development of new imaging modalities at all length scales, ranging from the nanoscale to the whole human body and their application to problems of significant medical or biological interest. Specific technical areas of interest include novel ultrasound imaging, diagnostic imaging systems, computational imaging, image processing, sensor design, image-guided therapy, functional and molecular imaging, and super-resolution imaging, though all applicants with skills and research interests that fall within the broad definition of the scope of this search will be given full consideration.

- list of three references who will provide letters on behalf of the candidate.
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field.
