Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Instruct participants on tennis fundamentals.
• Supervise participants to ensure rules are adhered to and the safety of all participants and spectators is protected.
• Maintain effective and consistent communication with program participants, staff, and program supervisor.
• Organize supplies and equipment.
• Assist participants, answer basic questions, and provide information
• Perform additional duties as warranted by management.
Minimum Qualifications
• Previous experience teaching tennis and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the game of tennis in order to teach effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work with participants with varying abilities and skill levels.
• Excellent verbal communication and instructional skills.
• Physical skill and ability required to instruct others in tennis fundamentals and the ability to lift/carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
