What you need to know

This position is NOT located in the United States. One must be willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar. It is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree

• Four years relevant professional experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to fabricate and characterize and test coating formulations

• Carry out testing of silicon rubber coating for high voltage insulators under the QNRF/NPRP project

• Supervision of undergraduate and master students working on research related to these tasks and apart from research assistants in the research group

• Write technical papers and reports, literature surveys, prepare and deliver oral presentations

• Perform other duties as assigned
