Temporary Research Assistant (Non-Exempt)

Job Description

The Temporary Research Assistant will assist with data collection and study field work while under the guidance of the Research Coordinator/Manager. The RA will engage in regular communication with participants, community partners, and stakeholders, while also assisting with data entry/management, filing, printing, and mail sorting/delivery. In addition, the RA will organize meeting agendas/minutes, appointments, and schedules as needed. Lastly, the RA will assist with participant retention strategies, special projects, reporting, and presentations in collaboration with the team.

A bilingual (Spanish/English) candidate with written and verbal skills is a must as 100% of study participants are Spanish speaking. The RA must be highly organized, dependable, and timely as the study is focused on building trust with the community, and lastly, must have reliable transportation since data collection takes place at community sites in North Philadelphia.

Pay Range

$7.25 - $20.00 Hourly Rate

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
