Temporary - Research Assistant

The Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics seeks applicants for a part-time research assistant to work in the laboratory of Professor Stas Shvartsman over the summer.

• Process and organize imaging and other data for use by the Shvartsman lab in development of biological models. This includes activities like reformatting files, validating data, and/or writing code.
• Attend and contribute to meetings with PIs, post-docs, graduate students, and collaborators of the Shvartsman lab.

Qualifications

• Experience with data management and analysis.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; should be detail-oriented and meticulous.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with writing code.
• Background and interest in data science and model and algorithm development, and their applications in biological science.
