The Racial Justice and Technology program (RJxTP) at the Heller School, Brandeis University, is seeking a Research Assistant to support research projects under the guidance of the Program Director. The role supports research tasks, project management, preparation of articles and reports, data collection, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis using tools like Excel and specialized software. The position also encompasses administrative duties such as managing deadlines and preparing materials for conferences and reports.

The Research Assistant will be involved in projects around AI and Machine Learning bias, supporting efforts to develop ethical AI policies with a focus on racial equity, and contributing to the publication of papers. Additionally, the role includes supporting educational program development, such as designing online certificate programs and workshops, while staying abreast of developments in technology and racial justice. The research assistant will also aid in program and financial management, project coordination, and communication.
