Position Summary

This position is no longer than five(5) months; extension depends on program needs.

Temporary position, no benefits. Assist students in grades 6th – 12th includes but not limited to mentoring, tutoring assistance, creating and facilitating workshops, data entry, mailers, contacting students and families, case note documentation, creating social media content, attending student lunch and parent meetings, assisting with delivering summer programming, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to work independently.
Must be dependable/reliable.
Must have above average written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
Experience working with students and school administrators, strong presentation skills, ability to work independently.
Must pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required.

This, federally funded (U.S. Departments of Education), college academic preparation program assists eligible students in developing their potential for college success.
