Job Description:

The successful candidate will join a team to:  design, synthesize, characterize nanostructured polymeric structures on the micron scale with nanoscale features.  The successful candidate will need to analyze experimental results in terms of (1) the kinetics of free-radical polymerization, (2) solvents and solubility, (3) polymer physical properties, and (4) surface tension. 

Expertise in Gel Permeation Chromatography, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Free-Radical polymerization, chemical research, or chemical synthesis is highly desirable.  Other reasonable duties as assigned.


Requirements:

A BS or MS in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Nanoscience, Material Science, Nanoengineering from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
