SummerCamp offers an exceptional summer camp experience in and around the Greater Houston area with a mission to bridge the summer gap between school years and create a fun learning environment for children to explore and discover. Hosted in several locations throughout Houston, classes are led by experienced individuals who are enthusiastic about teaching computer science and programming and dedicated to making the summer both fun and educational for middle and high-school-aged kids.

SummerCamp is designed to engage inquisitive minds, inspire creativity, encourage interactive learning, foster positive thinking, and build vitally important computer skills for our modern digital society. It takes a team of energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated, and responsible individuals to deliver this exceptionally high-quality program. This team consists of experienced instructors and qualified camp counselors.

We are seeking experienced professionals to deliver one or more of the following courses:

1) One or more instructors with experience in teaching Management, Marketing, and/or Finance.
2) One or more instructors with teaching experience in AP World History and US History for high school students
3) Teaching experience in computer programming

 

DUTIES 

  • Delivers the pre-defined summer camp curriculum
  • Ensures the success of every student in your class, including active engagement, academic understanding, project accomplishment, and social interaction
  • Identifies the strengths and areas of improvement for each child in your classroom; help him/her to grow to the next level
  • Represents SummerCamp in front of parents through daily communications, especially pre-camp and post-camp communications with parents and guardians. Communication subjects include the highlights of the day and the child's strengths and areas of improvement
  • Reports to the campsite on time
  • Prefers commitment of 6 consecutive weeks 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to acquire knowledge of the camp curriculum
  • Must have a professional manner and positive attitude
