Job Summary
 

The Temporary employee will support the Office Of Admissions as a New Student and Family Program Intern on the Armstrong Campus. 
Temporary employees are employed according to departmental need and the length of time will vary by workload and may not exceed 1300 hours worked in a 12-consecutive month period.


Responsibilities
 
  • Works as members of the professional staff team.
  • Supervises undergraduate SOAR Leaders.
  • Involves in staff training and development.
  • Engages in program development and implementation.
  • Facilitates sessions.
  • Participates in assessment activities.
  • Manages social media related tasks.

Shift Specifics

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Some variation in hours during SOAR session days.
  • Some work required during nights and weekends.

Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements

  • Current Graduate Student

Required Experience

  • Previous experience working in Orientation, Transition, and Retention

Proposed Salary
 

$14.00 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
