UMHC-SCCC-Radiology has a (Per-Diem) Patient Scheduler I position available.  Patient Scheduler 1 are responsible for receiving imaging orders via both fax and email for the department of Radiology Central scheduling. Review all received requests for quality assurance purposes to include all imaging requisitions for all UHealth Radiology departments including ( but not limited to) MRI, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, and CT scans. Interact directly with radiology schedulers, University of Miami and community physicians to assure a smooth scheduling process. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements are High School Diploma, and one year of experience in a healthcare or customer service related setting preferred. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.

Patient safety is a top priority.
