Essential Job Duties	The position will involve assisting members of the lab with ongoing projects related to oomycete-based diseases of plants. Activities may include (but are not limited to): Maintenance of the laboratory culture collection Maintenance of plants in a greenhouse setting Preparation and extraction of DNA samples Receiving and processing infected leaf material for isolation and identification Preparing and interpreting PCRs General lab maintenance, including washing glassware and preparing growth media
