The Statler Hotel at Cornell University announces an opportunity for a Temporary Housekeeping Attendant to join our Housekeeping Team. Our Housekeeping Team consistently receives rave reviews from our hotel guests. We provide immaculately clean guest rooms and public facilities, and the friendliest service you will encounter in a hotel housekeeping department.

   

Your role as a Temporary Housekeeping Attendant:

As a member of the hotel's Housekeeping Team, it helps to provide a warm welcome and outstanding, personalized service to our guests. Housekeeping Attendants help to prepare clean and comfortable rooms for our guests' stay at the hotel. Other duties include delivering special requests, maintaining/stocking linen closets and carts, reporting/handling guest items left behind according to Statler Hotel procedures, helping to maintain guest privacy and security, and performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:  

The ideal candidate is high energy and very passionate about providing hospitality and service, an individual who takes pride in the room's appearance and is highly detail-oriented. Someone motivated to being a valuable contributor to our team of professional and student staff. The physical demands for this position require employee to be flexible and in good physical condition, as the job entails frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting items.

The typical hours for this role would be Sunday/Thursday 4pm-8pm or 5pm-9pm or Monday/Friday 4pm-8pm or 5pm-9pm.
