Job Summary
The Department of Philosophy in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a Temporary, non-tenure eligible, Full-Time Instructor to begin August 1, 2024. The position involves teaching four classes (12 credit hours) per semester at the undergraduate level. The preferred candidate will be expected to teach across the undergraduate curriculum, including courses such as Introduction to Philosophy, Introductory Logic, Introduction to Philosophy: Morality and Society, Food Ethics, and Business Ethics. The UK philosophy department is a pluralistic department open to diverse approaches in Philosophy.
A PhD in Philosophy is required.
