As the temporary enrollment program manager, you will be responsible for communicating with prospective participants and parents; organizing all program logistics, workshops, and programming; and overseeing program assistants and student ambassadors. This position requires working closely with other program leaders and internal teams to create and implement successful program marketing strategies, assisting with the development, formatting, and editing of materials. The program manager must determine the needs of the program – including classroom space, physical resources, and transportation – and assist with planning the budget, as well as coordinating with university personnel for needed services.

The program manager is responsible for the welfare of nearly 2,000 program participants, acting as the main on-call staff member and first point of contact for participants in crisis situations. In this position you must set the behavioral expectations for participants and staff by fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. You will manage the entire application process, ensuring guidelines are achieved and goals are attained, and will make sure information about the programs is disseminated to staff in a timely manner. Other responsibilities include preparing reports and statistical summaries, performing annual audits on the programs, collaborating with the Atlanta team, acting as a communication liaison, and supporting student leadership.

In this role you will manage the hiring and training process of staff and oversee the execution of the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and the Hometown Hero program. Additionally, you will assist with SCAD Days, Spotlight Days, and SCAD Challenge. This position will also have other responsibilities that may include virtual recruitment through LiveAgent shifts, virtual information sessions, daily admission tour assistance, and domestic and global recruitment travel. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and must be able to travel to all SCAD locations. They should be able to interact with all guests and staff as a quality representative of SCAD, work closely with the team to ensure consistency in all efforts, and provide support for initiatives. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional communication skills: writing and public speaking
  • Must have advanced customer relations skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of one year of experience

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license

Travel required:

  • 10% to 20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
