Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years of related experience or an equivalent of education, training and experience
  • The successful candidate should have an interest in hands-on robotics testing and operation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in engineering or related field.
  • Working knowledge of project and team management software such as MS Project and MS Teams. Familiarity with LabVIEW, NI data acquisition hardware, SolidWorks, microcontroller, and data processing software. Should be comfortable working on both hardware and software aspects of process development.
Position Description

The Louisville Automation and Robotics Research Institute (LARRI), at the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering is seeking a casual temp interested in assisting with engineering research activities in the lab. This position is $15/hour for up to 40 hours a week. The candidate will be mentored by Dr. Andriy Sherehiy and will perform the following duties:

  • Additive manufacturing process development for NeXus instrument.
  • Data analysis and computation from engineering research studies.
  • Editing written reports and/or publication drafts on engineering research topics.
  • Other duties as assigned
