Minimum Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Interior Design, Architecture or Architectural/Interior History and teaching or relevant professional experience in the field of interior design, objectivity, and strong communication skills.

Position Description

The Council for Interior Design Association (CIDA) consultant is responsible for overseeing and working with Hite Institute of Art and Design's chair, faculty, and staff to develop informed judgments regarding program compliance with CIDA standards to meet accreditation review deadlines beginning March 2022 and finishing in May 2022. The CIDA consultant will supervise the schedule, communicate with CIDA representatives, and assure that policies and procedures are met throughout the review process which include providing supporting materials and evidence for PAR (Program Analysis Report), Digital Display Orientation, interviews with students, faculty and program administration, studio observations and exit interviews.
