Temporary - Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor

Summary:
The primary function of the Adult Basic Education/GED Instructor is to provide Adult Basic Education/GED instruction to EOC participants 19 and older. Duties include providing virtual GED instruction to support I-Pathways learning, creating and implementing a GED curriculum, monitoring and assessing student progress on an ongoing basis, participating in the intake process as requested, collecting, recording and reporting all necessary information related to students in a timely manner to program Director and participating in staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree preferred;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written);
Customer service focus including the ability to assess inquiries and provide appropriate information or resolution using judgment and available resources, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality;
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work with multiple and conflicting demands in a deadline-oriented environment;
Ability to be collaborative and work in a team environment;
Demonstrate Professionalism;
Must be dependable/accountable
