Temp Research Assistant

Building on prior work, the research assistant(s) will refine and implement a health data base using Xano working remotely.  It will be installed in a hospital in Jamaica for patients being treated with diabetes.  The data base will obtain information from wearable devices showing participants daily steps, results of laboratory tests, administrative data (e.g. clinic attendance), and, if possible, peer comments.  Appropriate data security and privacy must be ensured.  The database will contain interfaces for access and use by patients, clinicians, and researchers.

Qualifications: Familiarity with building and linking data bases and degree in computer science or related field at bachelor’s level or beyond.  Familiarity with applications to health data relevant to chronic conditions would be an added advantage.
