Position Overview

ATLAS (Accessible Teaching, Learning, & Assessment Systems) is seeking a technology project coordinator to support the technology needs of the center. With more than 60 staff, the center serves Pre-K through 12th grade students with disabilities, struggling learners, and teachers through several projects focused on improving student outcomes. This position will provide integral support for helping define the center’s software development requirements and coordinating administrative projects and activities that require a high degree of specialized knowledge.

Job Description

45% - Under supervision of the Technology Project Manager, work with ATLAS staff to maintain records, monitor timelines, support internal users, and track functionality changes (e.g. maintain user accounts, troubleshoot and track submitted issues, create and review documentation, answer functionality questions, train internal users on new software features).

45% - Under supervision of the Technology Project Manager, communicate ATLAS needs and coordinate with Agile Technology Solutions (e.g. submit defects and test fixes, review requirements for new features, account management for external users, coordinate user acceptance testing, assist in negotiating schedules).

10% - Other technology-related responsibilities as required (e.g., drafting materials for presentations, researching issues, collaborating with other teams on project deliverables).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field
  • At least one year of experience with technology requirements gathering, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, or customer service related to software.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail as evidenced by application materials.
  • Effective written communication skills as evidenced by application materials.

  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with research and development in K-12 education or educational assessments projects
  • At least one year of project management experience working on projects that required interaction with multiple teams
  • Excellent oral communication skills as evidenced in interview
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines, as evidenced in application materials and interview
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment
