Job Summary/Basic Functions

EKU Summer/EKU Winter invite applicants for the Spring 2024 semester position. The student(s) selected for this role will support efforts to continue enhancement of upcoming summer and winter terms at EKU. Responsibilities include:
Technology:
Designing social media content/graphics to promote EKU Summer/EKU Winter, updates, courses, faculty and opportunities using freely available software. (Canva)
Occasionally assist the Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning with setting up technology for workshops.
Assist in electronic file management
Connecting equipment and troubleshooting technical issues
Comfortable with learning new technologies that support the Noel Studio and Faculty Center for Teaching & Learning
Administrative Support:
Coordinating summer materials and supplies
Organization of materials/supplies and other upkeep of the FCTL/Noel Studio spaces as needed.
Other duties as assigned
Tabling/Campus Events:
Sharing information related to summer and winter courses and opportunities with students through tabling and other campus community events
Assist in the planning of promotional events and table sessions for the campus community

 

Qualifications:

Applicants must be full-time students at EKU, have a 3.0 minimum GPA, and be in good academic standing with the University.
Successful candidates should possess:
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience and comfort in learning about new technologies and creative software
Experience in creating graphic materials for social media
Dependable and flexible
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
