What You Will Do

This position will be filled at post master student. MPA-CINT invites a highly motivated and talented master conducting experimental researches of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenide heterostructures for photonic device architectures.

What You Need

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience to perform research tasks under guidance.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform as an effective member of multidisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform research tasks independently after training.

  • Demonstrated record of reliability and versatility.

  • Demonstrated competency with computers and software applications for word processing, data processing, and data visualization.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with assembly of atomically thin materials on various materials (e.g. Silicon dioxide, Silicon, Plastic, etc.).

  • Experience with microfabrication techniques including photolithography, dry etching, metal deposition, lift-off, soft lithography, and wire bonding.

  • Experience with electrical characterizations including field effect transistor and capacitance-voltage measurements.

  • Experience with experimental control programming (e.g. LabView, Python, etc.)

Education: A M.S. from an accredited Master’s Degree program in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field completed within past 2 years with cumulative GPA of at least a 3.2 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

Additional Details:

No Clearance: Position does not require a security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to drug testing and other pre-employment background checks.
