Responsibilities will include serving as Technical Director for Department of Performing Arts season (which currently includes three musicals, three plays, and two dance concerts); acting as a mentor on student productions; managing and maintaining the scene shop; tool and equipment maintenance and replacement; ensuring safety in all technical activities; and willingness to work with a diverse undergraduate student population. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching TDT 1100: Theatre Workshop and overseeing student practicum hours. Expectation is for 40 hours of work/week, including occasional evening work to cover technical rehearsals, performance weekends, and all strikes for shows.
