The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University invites applicants for a teaching-track position in its Organizational Behavior and Theory group to begin in Fall 2024. The teaching track at Carnegie Mellon is a full-time faculty position subject to a review and promotion process every 3 years, and has assistant professor, associate professor, and professor ranks.  All levels will be considered for this position, but we particularly seek applicants at the assistant or associate professor level. Multiple years of teaching experience in a university classroom is strongly preferred.  While teaching track faculty can pursue research activities, they are neither required nor expected to do so; their evaluation is based on teaching, educational, and service contributions.

Applicants should have a PhD in a discipline related to Organizational Behavior (including Organizational Behavior, Management, Strategy, Psychology, Sociology, or Economics). The ideal candidate can discuss organizational behavior and management across a variety of industries and business problems that face managers in today's business environment. Teaching assignments may span all our educational programs including the MBA, MS (e.g., Masters in Management, Business Analytics, and/or Product Management), and Undergraduate Business programs. Candidates must demonstrate a potential for and commitment to teaching excellence.
