Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Center Director and Center Coordinator, work cooperatively with the classroom teaching team to coordinate the child care program in one classroom for children two months to five years old, and their parents. Maintain program quality, adhering to Title 22 and Title 5 regulations, and accreditation standards for the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Complete children's assessments using Desired Results Developmental Progress (DRDP) and other online assessment tools. Maintain a healthy indoor and outdoor environment. Work cooperatively with parents and with supervisory staff to coordinate child care program. Act quickly and appropriately in hazardous situations, providing first aid in emergencies.
