Talent Care Center - Human Resources Specialist

Summary


Provide direct human resources and payroll support to managers and their employees within the Duke University Health System as part of the Talent Care Center.  

Job Duties

  • Submit pay and time and attendance-related iFroms on behalf of department managers due to supplements, error corrections or missed payroll deadlines. – 30%
  • Submit person and position change-related iForms on behalf of department managers due to hiring, transferring, error correction, change in status, re-organization and termination. – 30%
  • Interpret and analyze reports from technology platforms including API, SAP, iForms and Success Factors. – 10%
  • Provide informationfor verification and loan forgiveness forms using accessible data. – 5%
  • Assist managers with supervisory and performance review appraiser assignments in SAP. – 5%
  • Resolve other HR and payroll related issues that come up if possible and escalate to HR Manager or Director if appropriate. – 10%
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. – 10%

Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires knowledge of basic communications, research and education. mathematical principles normally acquired through a high school


Experience

Work requires the ability to review, maintain, research, and report on OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE human resource and payroll information/activities generally acquired through five years of related experience.
