These positions will work directly with high school students during Upward Bounds two-week long residential program from July 14 – 23, 2024 plus training July 11-12th.
UB Resident Mentors will act as leaders and academic coaches for high school students during UB’s residential program at OSU. The position requires living in the dorm for the duration of the program. Upward Bound Resident Mentors will ensure that that UB high school students are motivated and encouraged to be actively engaged, both in and out of the classroom. This is a great opportunity to get involved and support first-gen income-eligible high school students this summer.

Plan and lead the afternoon recreational and teambuilding activities. Carry out assigned work activities and participate in all organized events.
