Compensation:
Pay Range: $89,880.00 - $146,055.00/year

Duties:

To perform highly complex systems process analysis, design, and simulation across multiple platforms and/or cross-function in business areas. To perform process improvement and re-engineering with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. To develop innovative IT solutions for risky and demanding business situations. To function as a team leader and provide procedural and technical guidance to less experienced systems analysts. To function as a specialist in a particular aspect of systems analysis or as in integrator of analysis and design across technology platforms, business areas, or locations. To instruct and review the work of others. 

Job Specific Duties

·         Build, test, and troubleshoot Cerner applications

·         Assess and work service requests

·         Actively track and review Cerner roadmaps and enhancements to be considered by leadership

·         Research options for customer workflow needs

·         Assist with various system maintenance requirements

·         On-call customer support for assigned Clinical Applications call group

·         Perform system monitoring activities including working Lights On compliance check items

·         Provide assistance and support to colleagues and customers

 

Qualifications

 

Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field and eight (8) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.

Preferred Skills

·         Expert understanding of Cerner application functionality and build tools

·         Proven ability to effectively analyze service requests in relationship to the customer's needs and make sound recommendations

·         Ability to assess the information needs of peers to accurately and effectively transfer knowledge to them

·         Strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills

·         Critical thinker who plans, leads, and communicates effectively in various settings 

·         Ability to coach and mentor peers while promoting team comradery 

·         Proven ability to correctly identify and resolve Cerner system issues

·         Proven sense of situational awareness to identify end-user and/or system issues that need to be escalated to the appropriate next level 

·         A Proactive person who is constantly learning and improving

·         Knowledge of Cerner ancillary design and build such as RadNet/SurgiNet

·         Knowledge of radiology and/or OR workflows
