Systems Analyst I-Revenue Cycle

Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift

Under limited supervision within the Revenue Cycle environment is responsible for the development, documentation, testing, and implementation of Revenue Cycle system applications.  Provides maintenance and support for existing systems.  Acts as a direct liaison with users, technical support, training, and operations personnel.


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or related field or a combination.  Directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.  A proven ability to interface effectively with users.  At least three (3) years’ experience in the development, documentation, testing, and implementation of Revenue Cycle related system applications or a combination.  Prior business and IT experience may be considered in lieu of three years IT experience.

Preferred:  An understanding of computer hardware and software principles, and a proven ability to interface effectively with users. Experience with medical billing systems along with a working knowledge of medical billing practices.
