Job Summary/Responsibilities
A Swift developer who will develop a iOS mobile application that will use 3D spatial information (LiDAR, Images etc.) of residential construction sites for developing an Augmented Reality based DIY home remolding application.
1. Develop an interactive mobile application using Swift’s Roomplan API and ARKit
2. Roomplan API utilizes the camera and LiDAR Scanner on iPhone and iPad to create a 3D floor plan of a room, including key characteristics such as dimensions and types of furniture.
3. Robust object-oriented design and programming skills with Swift
4. Experience with SwiftUI
5. Experience with iOS SDK and APIs
6. Perform market research and explore different revenue streams to potentially compete in the entrepreneurial mobile application market.
7. Attend weekly meetings with the advisor and collaborate with other students working on the project.
8. Help the advisor in publishing peer reviewed journals.
Required Qualifications
Proficient Knowledge of App Development using Swift for iOS, Deep Expereince with Swift APIs and SDKs, Knowledge of Computer Vision, Machine learning and Deep learning Libraries like Open CV, Tensor flow etc., Knowledge of AR/VR.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Web scraping and App development for iOS, completed courses/certifications on Computer Visions, Machine Learning and have a B or a better grade.
