Position Summary

effective work habits, learning how to prioritize objectives, and learning how to communicate effectively with others. Students will also learn the importance of attention to detail, dependability, accountability, and being prepared.
DAILY DUTIES:

1. Restock copy machine.
2. Serve as SOE receptionist.
3. Maintain the job bulletin board.
4. Upkeep of SOE social media platforms.
5. Student file maintenance, organization, and filing.
6. Sort mail into the correct mailboxes in the faculty room.
7. Make sure that all areas of the SOE are always clean and neat.
8. Prepare daily course materials for faculty and staff such as copies.
9. Greet students and visitors and direct them to the appropriate office.


DUTIES PERTAINING TO SCHOOL OF EDUCATION UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE PROGRAMS:

1. Assist with preparations for Advising Day, open house, student meetings, faculty meetings, and other departmental events.
2. Create fillable Microsoft Office Forms of all paper forms to be available to cooperating teachers.
3. Enter data for statistical analysis of student teachers, cooperating teachers, and field supervisors.
4. Make new student and transferred student files and process withdrawn student files.
5. Inventory supplies and advise secretary replacements need to be ordered.
6. Complete undergraduate student file audits one time each year.
7. Update school district contact information each school year.
8. Track student service and professional development hours.
9. Copy and assemble prospective student packets.
10. Clean and vacuum offices and kitchen areas.
11. Prepare graduate program folders for school district distribution and Program Director presentations.
12. Complete graduate student file audits two times per year.
13. Print and assemble Major Program Review binders.
14. Create Act 48 files and file Act 48 reports.
Required Qualifications
Familiar with utilizing social media platforms.
Excellent reading, writing, typing, proofreading, and editing skills.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities as shown by previous work experience.
Must be proficient in Adobe, MS Excel, MS Forms, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and sign confidentiality agreement.
School of Education students can apply for this position but will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
