The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (CoD) seeks a Supply Coordinator to join the patient care team in Clinic Administration to support the dental clinics. The College's Instrumentation Management team in Clinic Administration serves as an important function in the health care delivery system.

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is the fourth largest public dental school in the United States and it is the only public dental school in Ohio. The college is divided into ten divisions with all major ADA-recognized dental specialties represented. The College has approximately 600 students in its undergraduate and graduate programs.

The Supply Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to Instrument Management Services / Shipping & Receiving unit within the CoD, including supply acquisition, inventory control, occasional maintenance of equipment and instruments, as well as assist with supply par levels to ensure availability and prevent overstock. Serves as liaison between departments in regard to supplies and equipment utilized, and prepares weekly and monthly inventory reports. The supply coordinator is responsible for managing the supply and inventory process for the College's units including ordering and tracking inventory, maintaining burs and typodonts (plastic) teeth for student sales.

The Supply Coordinator is responsible for creating cost saving strategies and participates in planning meetings with other staff and the unit supervisor. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintaining equipment, the college Shipping and Receiving room and maintaining a clean storage area. Heat Sealing, Delivering Packages, Sorting Mail.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Candidate must be able to: work nights and/or weekends as needed for college events.

Pay Range:

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $15.29 to $19.89, commensurate with experience and education.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of frequently lifting/pulling/pushing up to 70lbs and lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis, bending/twisting/turning/reaching below knees and above shoulders on a regular basis; standing/sitting/walking for periods of time. Candidate must have the use of both hands; other specific requirements include excellent hand-eye coordination, visual acuity and communication/language development. Individuals in this position may be exposed to the following: chemical hazards (skin irritants).

Experience and Education Qualifications:

Required: HS Diploma or GED.

Desired: Knowledge and experience with inventory control, excellent interpersonal skills; ability to consistently contribute to and work within a fast-paced team environment.
