SI offers group study tables for students enrolled in historically challenging classes. SI study tables emphasize collaborative, student-led learning over direct instruction through the design of interactive activities developed to check and build on student understanding and confidence with course content. All study tables are led by SI Leaders who have succeeded in the course and completed pedagogy training in order to design their own activities using research-supported practices. Successful SI leaders are learning facilitators, not teachers. No experience in learning support is needed to apply. SI leaders hired from this applicant pool will undergo training prior to facilitating study tables.
